I don’t know about you, but this whole week I have been looking forward to next week. Not that this week has been a bad one, or this weekend is going to be a lame one, but next week has so much going for it. Next week is Thanksgiving – and I sure do have a lot to be thankful for this year. First and foremost, I am thankful for a half work week. I am also thankful that I get to eat with my loving family next Thursday. I am thankful that you are still reading my blog and I am also thankful that there will still be parties going on next weekend after the family festivities (because we all know how that goes). Anyways, I am sure you have a lot to be thankful as well. Some of the things you might be thankful for can be found in this posting. For instance, you may be thankful that your favorite band is playing this Friday at COD, or your favorite electronica DJ is spinning at Sanctuary, or possibly your favorite rap crew will be killin’ it at Diverse City. You might even be thankful for the new acts that will be introduced to the valley at Ignition or just the comforting feeling of Soul Opus playing reggae at the Soul of Mexico spot in Coachella, finally something to do on a Sunday night. Whatever you might be thankful for, feel free to express your thankfulness at these shows by showing up and showing your local artists some love. We all need love – especially those artists.

FRIDAY, November 21st:

Let’s say indie rock isn’t your thing. And electronica is – then I have the PERFECT event for you, my friend. This Friday has a banger in store for you. And you don’t want to miss out. Click on the flyer, either one (front or back side) to get more information.

The homies, Soul Opus, are at it again. This flyer is too legit to quit. Soul Opus will be playing at the Soul Of Mexico in Indio. Sounds interesting. But if you ain’t 21, stay in Palm Springs at Ignition.
