Good Morning Monday.

It’s the 1st day of the week. And it’s the 2nd day of March.

Last week I was on a bloging roll, covering everything from Recaps on Ace Hotel, to the Epidemic Skate Park, to parties, to gallery openings, to blahblahblah. So, readers, please take note… this week the blogging saga continues…

As the warm air and grey skies attract those winter birds by the flock loads, the desert cherps with things to do around town.

Here are just a few seeds that are going to be planted on the blog this week for all you fly guys and fly birds out there…

1. INTERVIEW: Alf Alpha. Yeah, that’s what’s up. Alf Alpha is the main man behind the meanest mixtapes and the bangin’ beats. Some of you probably last spotted him the Epidemic Skate park, others at a Date Farmers party, and others on his myspace getting cozy with Paris Hilton. Next spotting could quite possibly be in Japan. Alf Alpha just released his first solo (all beats and nothing but the beats) album in Japan and landed a Waxpoetics interview this past week. The CVAS gets a chance to get an interview with the super star DJ himself.

2. Festival of Native Film. This rare content and footage equates to “a must”. And also, considering where you live, this is a must. Come back to get all the information on who, what, when and where.

3. Graffiti. You didn’t think I’d forget about you, did you? This week features some Coachella Valley graffiti and street art… just the way you like it…

4. Explorations of the Desert. Annette Rotstien submits some of her explorations. They are quite funny. * please take note, I am still looking for more people to send in their Explorations of the Desert. Don’t be shy. thecoachellavalleyartscene@gmail.com

5. New Myspace Features! Oh, how fun myspace is. You gotta love it. This week I am linking up old interviews to the myspace page. So, whenever you wanna get to know a Coachella Valley artist, all you have to do is visit the myspace page to be directly linked to the interview segment! Easy does it…

6. Free music. Somebody might let you download their EP for free. And somebody gave me their EP, shrink rapped and all, to give to you. Come back to get the happs… and the tracks.

7. Guest Writers. Still looking for some. Email and we can create some magic. thecoachellavalleyartscene@gmail.com

8. The usuals. Things 2 Do Thursday, the unofficial, official party line of the 760. FREE: Films, Events, Music… recession proof!
