Welcome back Coachella Valley.

This is your weekly forecast report. This morning we’re seeing cloudy periods of reflection upon this past weekend as well as a few flurries of fatigue in a direct result of all the fun that came from the east side of the valley on Friday night. The week’s forecast calls for a steady stream of information on the blog, with a really heavy gusts of posts mid-week. Our bloggerologists are predicting a heavy rain on the the blog on Thursday but clear skies and perfect weather for partying on Friday and Saturday evening. Sit poolside on Sunday, the temperatures are looking to be in the mid 80’s, just the way we like it around here. We’ll go back to the newsroom now for a report from the CVAS blog.

This just in:

1. El Dorado Party Recap. Oh snap! I like going to parties that live up to their expectations and hype, but I LOVE going to parties that turnout out to be even better than expected. This would be one of those parties. I thought I knew, but I had no idea. Amazing production and amazing performances. Good teamwork all around. Come back mid-week to check out the multi-media party recap.

2. Indio Teen Center Public Art Installation. Just when you start to give up all hope on actually cool/interesting public art sculptures and installations in the desert… one pops up. This art installation is going up next week at the Indio Teen Center and I think you’re really going to like it. Pictures of the piece will be posted this week.

3. Coachella Timeline. Two weeks ago the timeline started at 1999, 2001, and 2002. Last week we did 2003, 2004, and 2005. This week is 2006, 2007, and 2008. Next week…. 2009.

4. Explortaions of the Desert. It’s getting artsy fartsy up in here. But, hey… the first one who smelt it was the one who dealt it. Come see who is sharing their explorations this week.

5. Palm Springs Green Scene. This is my new favorite website, can you tell? I get their newsletters too. And you should too. Anyways, while everyone else is “going blue”, I stay green.

6. The usuals. FREE: Films, Events, Music and Things 2 Do Thursdays never fail to make their weekly appearance on the blog.

Thanks for reading… see ya later!
