Welcome back!
We had some technical difficulties there for a minute. But we got our glitches fixed and now we are officially ready for action.
The crystal ball reads that this week is going to be a busy one!
Getting back into the swing of “personalization” on the blog (the funnest and my favorite), we will retreat back to Interviews and inquiries with local “good doers” in the desert.
And on this side of the crystal ball we see here that there will be some additions to the format of the blog, some alterations. Some credit will be given to where some credit is do. Keep an eye out on new tabs that will open up to some people who have really been helping out lately with the blog.
It is a busy week, a beautiful week, and a one that you should be excited about too.

Here are some more predictions as to what is going to be featured on the blog this week:

1. Interviews!
Theeeyyyyyy’rrrrrreeee back! Keep an eye out for interviews popping up on the blog again. I sure missed them. Didn’t you?

2. Recaps.
A recap for this, a recap for that… Coachella, Stagecoach, bike rides, parties… man oh man do we have a lot of work to do. But, we’re doing it! Stay tuned. we’re working hard over here for you guys.

3. Palm Springs Art Museum.
There is a lot of cool stuff going on and going to be going on in the next couple of weeks and all throughout the summer. We are excited. So come back to see what they are up to.

4. Desert Sun Articles of Interest.
There are lots of articles of interest in the Desert Sun, but there was one in particular that I found interesting an relevant for the Coachella Valley Art Scene blog… come back to check it out.
5. Bored? Need some work?
Well, then you are looking in the right place. We are looking to expand over here at the Coachella Valley Art Scene headquarters and we need your help. If you would like to contribute (write, photograph, film, make stuff, blog, design, whatever) please email me at thecoachellavalleyartscene@gmail.com. I will be placing an add on the blog (and maybe craigslist) for all those interested. It’s fun. Really, it is, trust me.

6. Art Project.
The CVAS Blog and Steven Preston are teaming up to do a huge, interactive, super cool art project… involving ….. you. And people in your art scene/community/crew. We are currently on the search for “key members” of all the different art scenes of the valley. From punk rock, to graffiti, to pop, to folk, to painters, to party planners, to DJs, to pirates, to fashion, to electro, from the East all the way to the West of the valley. If you are someone who would be interested in knowing more about this project, or would like to suggest someone who you feel is a vital member in the desert’s art scene…. please let us know. email thecoachellavalleyartscene@gmail.com with your questions, comments, suggestions.

7. The usuals.
FREE: Films, Events, Music & Things 2 Do Thursdays are your trusty blog posts that you can always count on every week here on the CVAS blog. As many of you know, the FREE: Films, Events, Music post lists a bunch of cool events that are going on around town that we here at the CVAS headquarters think you may be interested in that are free, or close to free. Things 2 Do Thursdays is Thursday’s big bang of party flyers to all the local parties that all the local bands are playing at.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned because there’s going to be a lot of updates. If you have any questions or comments, I’m always glad to hear them… so holler! thecoachellavalleyartscene@gmail.com
