Last weekend we were excited about the idea of wearing a sweater in a few weeks, this week we are excited about a party lineup that is going to last us until midweek.

If there is anything better than Fall weather, it’s a good party to go to on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night.
All local, all loco.
I told you last week, despite this Mercury in Retrograde, that good is near.
Get near the good in your hood:
THURSDAY NIGHT:
Sol District plays at an “Indy” rock show at the Knitting Factory. Indy is a new kinda indie music… didn’t you know? It’s indie music with a desert spin on it. Yeah…
FRIDAY NIGHT:
Have you heard about the Evaros? They are this new craze sweeping through the valley. Don’t sleep through the sweep.
If you haven’t heard of them, here is where you can catch them around town for the next month or so.

The punk rock kids never fail. These kids produce mad shows, not at venues, not at country clubs, but at bad ass places out in the desert and in Mom’s house when she fleas for the weekend. BYOB, homie.
SATURDAY NIGHT:
This is the cleanest flyer ever. Probably explains the whole… “free sex for v-necks”.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON:

Now, we all know this is a bad ass party that goes down every Sunday. It’s free, it’s open to the community, and it’s a hip place. We can’t ask for more. Oh wait…. I almost forgot to mention that they also booked one of our favorite local DJs, DJ Day. Holler. Plus, special guest DJ, Zia McCabe of the Dandy Warhols!!

MONDAY NIGHT:

When you see a flyer like this… know that it’s time to get groovy. Revol Concept lays the reggae and the Evaros bring that Beatles harmony back to life. A really good line up. Shimmy shimmy ya’ll…

TUESDAY NIGHT:

This flyer is adorable! The person who took the time to make it is awesome. And the person who took the time to makeup this lineup isnt too shabby either. In fact, they are close to genius. Come listen to what close to genius in music selection sounds like.

Thanks for spending another week with the Coachella Valley Art Scene. We would love to hear your suggestions, comments, questions, stickers, glue, tape, etc…
