Don’t we all just wish we could could be Wendell Tvedt for a weekend?

Go to Palm Springs as a geek, and come home America’s #1 hunk. Sounds like a plan to me. I know these mountains give off positive ions, but I guess I didn’t know how powerful those ions were.
Whether the fountain of youth and beauty can be found here in the Coachella Valley or not, you will find plenty of youth and plenty of beauty in and around town this weekend.
To find that gold, look in the following locations:
THURSDAY NIGHT:

DJ Day’s Sunday Short Bus at the Ace Hotel have been moved to Thursdays, in the Amigo Room. How friendly!

Down the street, the family, Evaro will performing at J Dee’s. Come get a sneak peak as to what will be at the Doo Wop!!

FRIDAY NIGHT:
Alf Alpha just got a weekly gig at Space 120 on Fridays. We dig his sets because he is the kinda DJ that works with his audience and for his audience. He never practices a set, and is a complete viber. And we respect that. You can expect to expect to hear nothing but the best of Golden Era hip hop (1990’s) and watch the party escalade to a dance off. So, if you’re looking for a fun time, look no further. See ya there.

Deck Art Show. The youngins are showing their skills off, on decks. And you better believe we’ll be there supporting.

The after party to the Deck Art Show is at J Dee’s. They got some punk rock sweat fest! 21+.

And if you don’t have plans on traveling to Palm Springs, then hit up this punk party in Coachella.

SATURDAY NIGHT:

If you are into street wear, $200 bottle service, and girl DJs in bikinis, then this is the place for all that in Palm Springs.

Thank you for spending another week with your pals over at the Coachella Valley Art Scene! We love your company and your support. We are looking forward to the Doo Wop and seeing you guys all dressed up and looking spiffy. There are so many things coming up in the near future and I think you guys are going to love it all. The Coachella Valley is definitely going to have a good 2010. If I forgot your event, or if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, please email me … thecoachellavalleyartscene@gmail.com
