Michael H. Lord Gallery presents the works of Leland Y. Lee, architectural photographer
At 91, architectural photographer Leland Y. Lee has enjoyed a career spanning many decades. Lee documented high design homes and interiors in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, and he studied with famed architectural photographer Julius Shulman for eight years. In addition to photographing for such luminaries as John Lautner, Arthur Elrod and Harold Broderick during 1950s – 1970s, Lee’s photography has appeared in prestigious publications such as Architectural Digest, Home Magazine, House & Garden, and Designers West. Michael H. Lord Gallery is honored to showcase Lee’s vintage photographs, and host Lee himself at this reception. Exhibit runs Feb. 12 – March 12.

Vintage trailers have always fascinated us. They represent escape, marshmallows and fire pits. Modernism Week has invited owners of vintage Airstream and travel trailers with original interiors to present them to you. Guided tours of interiors will be held on Saturday, February 20, at 10 a.m., noon & 2 p.m. During tours, owners will be on hand to talk about their trailers and answer questions about their restorations and trailer travels.

Vintage Fashion Show
The Vintage Fashion Show will showcase the incredible vintage clothing collection of dealer Marc Joseph (Secret Back Room). Starting with clothing fashion designs of the late 1940s, the fast-paced show will progress through the 50s, 60s and even into the 1970s. Accompanied by period appropriate music and imagery, the show will also feature vintage jewelry from the collection of Matt Burkholz (Route 66 West). Hair and make-up will be provided by Matthew Williams (Intelligent Hair).
