St. Patrick’s Day is one of those holidays that I never understood, yet, played along anyways.
Typically, it consists of getting off work and heading to the nearest bar. To simply indulge in some good ol’ brew with some good ol’ friends in the spirit of Irish charm and good fortune.
This year, however, the local bar, Space 120 (not known for being Irish, but could maybe look Irish after a few strong ones) is offering more than a little brew…. they’ve got a great show lined up for you!
Tonight the famous VooDoo Glow Skulls take the stage.
I don’t know about you… but I sure listened to them back in the day. Ahhh… yesss…. middle school.
Anyways, time get ready and saddle up for some mosh pits.
Opening acts to the VooDoo Glow Skulls are You Know Who?, The Hellions, and Se7en4.
On the other side of town, in Palm Desert, the Hood offers up a nice Pabsts and a heavy dose of one of our favorite psyche bands, Dreamcatcher. When doesn’t Dreamcatcher pack the house? And when doesn’t a Pabsts sound good?
And don’t forget that the following night at Space 120, Daddy Kev will grace the stage with some heavy electronic/experimental/dubstep beats…
… you will probably have to leave here with a neck brace from all that head bobbing.
Opening acts included Planet Lunch, Set Below Sea Level, and DJ Sin.
