It’s Halloween weekend!!!  Who really cares what I have to say!?!? All the cool parties (minus the house parties) from all around the Coachella Valley are listed below.  Enjoy yourself, ya’ll.

Get cha freak on:

THURSDAY NIGHT:

Skaters that are artists and artists that are skaters.  Always makes for an interesting experience.  Rage with the best of them.

This week have one of the Co-Founders of the world famous Los Angeles Sunday Afternoon party, the DO OVER, as a special guest tonight!!!  The main man with the master plan, Jaime Strong, will rock the turntables along with resident DJs, DJ Day and Aimlo.  Plus, it’s my old school homie’s birthday, Izzy Wilder’s birthday, so go buy him a drink!

FRIDAY NIGHT:

Start your weekend off with a lovely community bike ride!!!  A possible BBQ after???

LIVE at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown!!  THE ENTRANCE BAND w/ Allah Las and Strangers Family Band // $10 cover //  The Entrance Band kicks out a veritable explosion of mind-bending, skyscraping high-volume electric power. The trio – which includes singer/guitarist Guy Blakeslee, drummer Derek James and bassist Paz Lenchantin – set out for new musical frontiers with their full-on melding of psychedelic freakout and punk rock intensity.  // 53688 Pioneertown Rd.  Pioneertown, CA 92268 // (760) 365- 5956    // pappyandharriets.com // http://www.theentranceband.com

All things weird.  A great way to get warmed up for Halloween.

SATURDAY NIGHT:

You know what it is!!! It’s a Coachella Valley Art Scene + Alf Alpha + Ace Hotel party!!!  This means you are GUARENTEED good music, cool costumes, FREE arts and crafts to make your own, a cool atmosphere, and… yours truly, The Coachella Valley Art Scene.  It’s a win-win situation.

We are so serious about this party that we made TWO flyers!  Or, maybe it’s just one.  One’s in a costume and the other is not???  Am I speaking of my party flyers as if they are real life people??… now that’s pretty scary….

Do I see a Burning Man logo on this flyer?!?!  I think that says enough.  Who said desert generator parties were dead????… They came back from the dead!  This looks dope.  Located somewhere out in Thousand Palms area??? I honestly don’t know, you gotta hit up the party line.

And if this year you are tricker treating on the East side of town and want to party over there after, then make sure to go to the Punk Rock Halloween party of the century!  This is going to be gnarly!!!

And if you plan on being in the High Desert… you may or may not want to check out this party.

All you folky freaks, you will find solitude at Pappy & Harriet’s this Saturday with their Folk Yeah party!!!

SUNDAY NIGHT:

It’s the official day of Halloween and there is only one party!!  At Pappy & Harriet’s with one of my personal favorite’s GRAM GRIM RABBIT.  Leave it to Gram Grim Rabbit to keep it real.  Here’s the info: GRIM RABBIT! // 10/31/10 // Tickets are only $5 at The Door! // “Gram Rabbit is the face of 21st century glam; denser than Scissor Sisters and more fun than Ladytron. If everyone who heard Roxy Music got these sorts of ideas, the world would be a vastly better place.” – Chris Henderson The Houston Press // www.GramRabbit.com

Have a safe and super fun Halloween everyone!  Cheers!
