I love weekends like this in the desert…. the ones that almost make no sense, but make perfect sense at the same time.

If you take a look at the party lineup you’ll see that it’s clearly all over the place.  On Thursday, we the world-renouned Daedelus is performing for free, Friday takes a dip into the alternative music secenes of the desert, and Saturday is some of the desert’s most popular music scene’s big night out.  So interesting.  So random.  So coinsedential.  So “desert”.

But in the end, it’s all love.  Everyone has a voice, a scene, the respect and support from their peers.  And, that, in it’s self is so “desert”.

THURSDAY NIGHT:

What it do baby boo?!?!  Daedelus is in town!! Hollaaaaaa

FRIDAY NIGHT:

Mikey Reyes has them LL Cool Reggae vibes…. yah feel me?!

To be honest, I am not familiar with any of these bands, can anyone send me some linkage?… Gnar.

Triple out!  I’m seeing quadruple!

SATURDAY NIGHT:

OMG OMG OMG.  Every electronic/dance DJ in the desert is gonna be in the hhooouuuuuusssseee!!!  And the CVAS will be there documenting the night…. so look cute, yo.

Another banger in Palm Springs, except, of course, this way will have waaaaay more chiller vibes than Desert Digital.

And if you are in the East end of the valley for the night… don’t forget to print this flyer out on your computer and bring it with you to the party to get in for free.  And make to smile… cuz you’re on candid camera!

* * * *

Thank you everyone who continues to read, support, and grow with The Coachella Valley Art Scene.  We try every day to dedicate at least a couple hours to the blog.  And just when we think nobody cares anymore, we get like 30 friend requests, and our heart gets all mushy all over again.  So, thank you, every single one of you, nobody is overlooked.

If there is someone who is interested in being an intern for the CVAS (we are real people, not just blogbots, we swear!) and get school credit + really amazing perks, then please hit us up.  We are looking to grow the team so we can outgrow even what we got going on right now.  It’s all about getting out of your comfort zone and trying new and exciting things.  So, yeah, looking forward to hearing from you <3  thecoachellavalleyartscene@gmail.com
