In our latest feature, Recaps of Happs from the Past, we examine highlights from this past summer’s music scene. There have been some amazing shows in the Coachella Valley. While some have taken place at big venues, others at smaller, and even some right in your neighbor’s back yard, the energy and passion that each one has embodied has been fierce.
Despite the fact that it’s over 100 degrees at night, that many people are out of work, and music outlets for youth are scarce – one thing that is for certain is that the Coachella Valley’s local scene isn’t giving up the fight…”to ppppaaaarrrttttyyy.”
One thing can be concluded about us crazy desert folk, when the times get tough the tough get going….
Below is a Photo Recap brought to us by local photographer, Ken Foto. Ken Foto is an excellent photographer with an extensive portfolio that spans well over 10 years, with travels around the world, he is adding to his collection documentation of the desert music scene. We love Ken Foto’s work, especially the way he captures the passion burning inside the artists.
