About the Film

Godard’s subversive and sublime Cinemascope epic is a challenging delight for the senses, intellect, and emotions. A screenwriter (Michel Piccoli) is torn between the demands of a proud European director (legendary director Fritz Lang), an arrogant and predatory American producer (Jack Palance), and a disillusioned skeptical wife (Brigitte Bardot), as he attempts to adapt a film version of the The Odyssey.

Directed by Jean-Luc Godard (1963, 103 min., BluRay, not rated)
