Every now and then I wish I was in New York.   The energy of the big city, the eats, the art, the music, and the theater.  But then I look at the weather + the price of a plane ticket, and realize I won’t be going out there anytime soon.  So, I start looking around for local happenings that make for great city substitutes.

Ballet in the Cinema is a program currently screening at Cinemas Palme D’Or in Palm Desert.  This is definitely something you wouldn’t be able to see any normal day of the week in the desert, but maybe if you would if you lived in a big city like New York… so check it out!
