We found this photo on the Palm Springs Art Museum’s Facebook and thought it was pretty great. ¬†Nothing like good ‘ol Palm Springs in the ’70’s!!!

About this photo:

“On this day, Jan. 24, 1976 (thirty seven years ago) the downtown location of the Palm Springs Art Museum (then called “Palm Springs Desert Museum) opened its doors to the public. The opening crowd, pictured here, eagerly toured the new building and initial art exhibition by Israeli artist Yaacov Agam. Happy anniversary to this historic building and it’s iconic architect, E. Stewart Williams.”
