The #PSModSquad Preview Crew – Sarah Scheideman
.
via Modernism Week:
You may remember our #PSModSquad from back in February – they’re our hand-picked “squad” of a few of our favorite influential design bloggers, Instagrammers, and Tweeps. They schmoozed at the parties, attended the tours, and snapped the most glorious outfits for all of us who followed them on Instagram to admire. This fall, we’re excited to bring back a smaller, leaner #PSModSquad group for the upcoming preview weekend – The Preview Crew.
First up in our list of introductions is Sarah Scheideman, Founder + Director of The Coachella Valley Art Scene – an arts and culture blog that she launched in 2008 to document the upcoming art community of the desert. Her blog opened doors and presented her with opportunities as an art curator, event coordinator, and journalist. She is also known for bringing her community craft culture and artisan prop styling from a local scene into a nationwide movement.
Scheideman was born, raised and currently resides in Palm Springs. She believes that “Modernism is more than a movement; it’s a state of mind. The desert provides an open invitation to explore yourself and Modernism creates the type of space you need to reshape and refine it.”
Be sure to follow Sarah on Instagram @TheCVArtScene during the Modernism Week preview this weekend, and the rest of the #PSModSquad too, for more insight and preview into Modernism Week!
